    year: 2010
    status: realization
collaborators: Ing.arch. Ludìk Jasiok, Ing.arch. Tereza Lejèarová

The realization of a café and canteen in a listed building of the former headquarters of the Prague Stock Exchange and the Federal Assembly. Thesedays, the National Museum. During lunchtime, several meals are served in a kiosk. For the rest of the day, the kiosk is closed and bread and coffee come into play in the open part of the self-service counter. A variety of seating possibilities are used in the interior. Low conference seating in original armchairs, high bar stools in boxes by a glass facade, bar stools with long tables and two types of dining tables with benches and fiberglass chairs. Interestingly, fiberglass chairs are made from monocoques, brought from old prague´s tramways, and machine-bent steel bases. For furnishing, there was mostly used an exposed pine plywood. Rounded lights and hand-made graphics support a retro atmosphere of the café.
